1 down. Infinity To Go.

Super excited to have finished my first roll of film on. And I can not wait to get it developed! When I got home from work I went straight over to a local park to shoot for about an hour. It is so amazing to learn something new. A new piece of equipment to grow to learn and love. A new relationship. Ahh! SO MUCH FUN! I don't care HOW corny it sounds!!!
On another note, I'm not feeling well again. You just know when your body is ready to give in and break down. I feel it all over. Either that or I'm just sleep deprived. Lol.
Feeling a little tired, going to make this short. Just wanted to share a few pics from today. So happy tomorrow is friday! :)
Till then my friends.

A kid in a candy store.

So for a while now I've been considering going back to film and was looking around for a bit at the old school box cameras. I finally found one that I liked. A Yashica-D. I won it off eBay for dirt cheap. I just got it a few weeks ago and it is in great working condition. I am oober excited to play with it. But since then I have been anticipating the arrival of the film so I can play. :) It's almost like a kid on Christmas that gets a new toy but the parents forget to buy the batteries for it. Darn it.
Now that I got everything I need I can't wait to go out this weekend and put this baby to good use.
I just got finished telling my mom that I'm going to be a kid in a candy store with this bad boy. (Btw, my friend Mar and I named him Richard. Don't ask.) Before the existence of digital all I had was film. I had a regular automatic 35mm Canon. One that my parents had given me. And before that I had the little disposable ones. And friends that know me very well, know that I had like 3 in my purse at all times. I still miss the clicking of the rewind button. LOL. Taking my film to the photo lab, waiting about 5 days and then going back to pick up the final product is just so....EXCITING to me! It's like Christmas all over again and this time there were no batteries required! :) Seeing my work. The final product. Sigh. So much fun!
I can't wait!!!!!
Till then.

Roses are Red. Violets are Blue.

Well, its that time of year again. Flowers, cards, candies and I love you's. Sigh. Oh valentines day. You get me every time! I'm such a sucker.
Really I'm blogging to tell you about the AWESOME, AMAZING, FANTABULOUS (not even a word, but who cares) weekend I had with the people I love the most.
Friday: Got off work early and went to lunch with the boys. Well, my hubbs boys, ALPAL and Tomsic. We did the endless soup, salad, and bread sticks at Olive Garden. Omg. As Sergio would say, goodness all over and inside my mouth. Then got ready for the evening and went to dinner with Orlando and Rosemary for Rosemary's birthday. So much eating! But have no fear, we danced it off at the Round Up to end our Friday night. Good times!
Saturday: Woke up and went straight to homework, same for Surge. Our lives are so predictable. Its terrible. But no worries, school will be over before we know it! Lounged around and prepared our bodies for another night out. But this time we were really excited because it was a fun filled evening of wine tastings with good friends. No. GREAT FRIENDS! :) We went to this amazing place called CAVAS Wine Tasting. Never tasted the most AMAZING wine in my whole legal life, which is only about 3 years long, lol. I have discovered that I am a Sweet Riesling kinda girl and my beau is a Red Wine man, or his fav Jam Jar. If you can find a bottle of Jam Jar it is HIGHLY recommended, along with any Sweet Riesling. From CAVAS we made our way to, what we know as, the Red Bar/House. That's not the name of it but that's what we call it. I still can't recall what its name is but it was AWESOME! Live music, dancing, singing, and doing what seemed like a photo shoot in the middle of this Red Bar. Such a blast! Before we knew it, it was 3 in the morning and it was time to go. For some reason, we have a thing with closing restaurants and bars. Lol. As we shouted "Happy Valentine's Day" to each other and random people on the street we made our way home to end a FANTASTIC evening.
Sunday: Woke up to a hang over that was worth every sip of that Sweet Riesling. Sergio and I were in agreeance that the previous night was pretty much AWESOME. We finally crawled out of our deep slumber and made our way to Dennys for a hangover cure. When the evening came dinner was prepared by my mom and lil bro. Sergio came over with flowers and cards in tote. Mom, grandma, and myself all got 2 dozen roses. SO AMAZING! We had a wonderful dinner with the family and Nicole. Oh, and can't forget Jeff's new girlfriend, Kayla. So CUTE! Embarrassed my bro as expected. Ended the night with mom and I watching How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days.
All I have to say that I would never trade the people I have in my life. I love every single one of them and am so happy to be blessed with their presence. Sigh. :)
Ta Ta for now.
